The Research Toolbar allows students to crop webpages and add a title, note and quote as they save their smart bookmarks (SmartMarks) to their Project. The Toolbar’s Project menu allows students to quickly switch between Projects. Their browsing history is automatically saved to the Project. Inline histories are displayed between SmartMarks for fast backtracking.

Cloud based Collaboration
Students can add others (CoSearchers) at anytime. These CoSearchers will then see the Project in their Toolbar and on their Project List page. The owner of the Project sets the CoSearchers’ permission level. With Full permission a CoSearcher can do anything the Project’s owner can do. CoKnown automatically keeps track of who added what to the Project.

Project Organization
Students can have an unlimited number of Projects and archive them when they’re finished. Projects are automatically organized in chronological order with Inline Histories. Cropped webpages are also viewable inline. Custom Lists further organize with drag & drop sorting. Projects can also be interconnected to create Semantic webs of knowledge.

Notes & Writing Tools
Noteboxes can be added anywhere within a Project. They are unlimited in length, have a full text editor and spell checking. This allows students to write within the context of their SmartMarks and add additional notes. They can then assemble these chunks into a final format within Conclusion boxes.

Peer and/or Professor Review
Because everything on a Project is organized in a concise visual layout progress reviews are extremely quick. Sources, content, notes, and timestamps are all available at a glance.
