CoKnown as an Effective Emergency Response System

Fire bomber Jefferson County’s Lower North Fork Fire was a scary time for Colorado, and not only burned through 3790 acres and 27 homes, but also cost us the lives of two people just several weeks ago.

Sharon from found a great way to use CoKnown to share emergency information quickly and effectively during this fire.  In less than an hour she had used CoKnown to pull together All the News, Emergency, Evacuation and Weather information from dozens of websites.  She then embedded her CoKnown Project directly into the where readers who lived in the area and were able to instantly access ALL the information on the fire.  Within a couple hours Google had picked this page up and listed it on Page 1 for North Fork fire information.  Readers nationwide were using CoKnown to keep tabs on Colorado’s latest fire.

“We had the most comprehensive information on the fire anywhere!” Sharon reported.  Every time we updated our CoKnown Project with new information, it automatically updated as well!  “This is just a fantastic tool for collecting and sharing information fast!”  CoKnown, also  allowed us to get the help we needed keeping this Information up to date, without having to give out passwords to our site.

Sharon rated CoKnown a 5 out of 5 in her user review for CoKnown’s Research and Webpage Clipping Toolbar.
CoKnown proved to be the most effective way to share important information fast!
